Despite the polarizing critical reception, Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" is smashing right out of the gates, especially on the music video front. Less than 24 hours since the release, the Joseph Khan-directed clip has already broken Adele's record for the most-watched music video in its 24 hour debut window in VEVO history.
Initially unveiled at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (August 27), the flashy clip, which includes enough Easter eggs to have you analyzing for at least an hour, has been watched 31,020,088 times, at time of press. That's far more than Adele's video for "Hello," which earned 27.7 million views in its first full day of availability on VEVO.
"Look What You Made Me Do" is the lead single off her sixth studio album, reputation, which is set to drop November 10. Five separate versions of the LP will be available, with each containing exclusive double-sided poster with new art of Swift. If you head over to Target, you'll also be able to purchase a special-edition of the LP with 70 pages of exclusive content.
